The Vienna Public Libraries offer a wide range of media that users can borrow or access directly in the library.

In order to borrow, reserve, or renew items with your personal user account, you need to register with the library. You may access items in the library free of charge; however, the lending service is subject to a fee.

To ensure that the Vienna Public Libraries offer a smooth and effective lending service and a pleasant environment for visitors, please read the following sections containing basic information on how to use our range of media and services as well as a general code of conduct.
